About Us
Formed in 1924, AAUW-Billings maintains a strong core membership. Our endowment funds two college scholarships annually, and our annual Named Gift Award recognizes a Billings AAUW affiliate or other community member who has contributed to our mission. Our branch provides its members with a great venue for networking, learning, and community service.
Meetings, Programs, and Other Activities
Our general meetings are held at 11:30 am on the second Saturday of selected months between September and May on the Montana State University Billings campus, and involve both affiliate business and programs focusing on public education, equality and individual rights, economic self-sufficiency for all women, and the promotion of the arts and humanities. Optional lunch is available for a reasonable price. Board meetings, open to all members, occur quarterly via Zoom.
Interest Groups
The Billings affiliate continues to maintain an active monthly modern literature group and is open to forming new groups as interest warrants.
